They said that the plans are well in advanced stage in this regard and announcement for setting up of the Dispute Resolution Centre at Lahore will be made in due course of time so that the people of Lahore as well as adjoining districts of the Punjab province could avail the services and advice for resolving the disputes through mediation and thus minimizing the burdensome procedure of litigation to the maximum extent possible.
They said that the Centre for Dispute Resolution under the Alternate Dispute Resolution Project was set up in Karachi in 2007 and its successful working there had encouraged the IFC Pakistan to undertake plans for setting up a similar centre in Lahore .
