Illegal parking fee being charged at Commercial Market
RAWALPINDI: With the alleged connivance of New Town police and town administration, civil contractors are fleecing motorists by charging illegal parking fee in Satellite Town’s Commercial Market. Although no parking stand has been approved by the town administration, these illegal contractors are running their business without any fear. The district government has been asked to save the people from being fleeced by illegal contractors who are charging parking fee from all visiting motorists. As soon a customer parks his vehicle, a person appears and charges Rs 10 as parking fee. But soon he disappears and leaves the vehicles at the mercy of car lifters. The motorists have demanded the administration take steps to rectify the situation.
