Rs 2.22bn approved for Ghazi Road Interchange
LAHORE: The Punjab government has approved funds of Rs 2.22 billion for the construction of Interchange at Ghazi Road here.
The construction will be made as part of the Lahore Ring Road (Package-II), an official of Planning and Development Department told APP here Sunday. He said the government has also approved an amount of Rs. 212.107 million for Lahore Ring Road Project Fencing, Barrier Wall and RCC Wall. Approval has also been given for Punjab Youth Internship Program (Phase-II) (Revised) with the funds of Rs 1286.830 million. He said that the approval for the registration of Geographical Indications (3rd Revised) at the cost of Rs. 99.550 million has also been granted. He said that the construction of road portion from Mehmood Booti To Lakhu Dair at the cost of Rs. 1335.484 million has also been approved.
