Congratulations a very good news for DHA 7 Z block & DHA Town & Prism especially R block because a huge Rs 21 billions project approvad in middle of all three. Mean Badian Road is now going to be widened or Hudaira drain road to be widened to access these mega project like Kidney and Liver transplant hospital and Knowledge park etc.

IT Knowledge park and Kidney and liver transplant hospitals are located on Badian Road infront of Prism R and DHA Town ext area and on back of Z block DHA7 in Rukh Dera Chal area.

Entire DHA7 and Dha9 Prism will benefit a lot. DHA 7 Z and Prism R most but also Prism M N L K should benefit benefit big. I think these block holder hit a lottery today. I will explain latter on why ?

Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif presided over a high level meeting on Thursday which reviewed different matters related to the Lahore Knowledge Park Project. The chief minister gave an approval to set up Information Technology University at the Knowledge Park while issuing instructions for submitting final recommendations regarding the establishment of another hi-tech university in the knowledge park.

 

Addressing the meeting, Shahbaz Sharif said the Punjab government will complete a project of information technology university with its own resources while it will also provide funds for the project of establishing another university. He directed the Vice-Chancellor Information Technology University to submit final recommendations at the earliest for the project of Information Technology University. He said the Punjab government has allocated a sum of Rs. 21 billion for the project of knowledge park during the next three years and it will provide Rs. seven billion annually from its own resources for the construction of the project.

 

Shahbaz Sharif said the Lahore Knowledge Park will play an important role in the promotion of information technology for high quality education and other modern knowledge project will prove to be a milestone in the promotion of education and research. He said the Lahore Knowledge Park is of vital importance with regard to the promotion of high standard education and modern knowledge in the real sense. He said the provision of resources for the promotion of education is useful investment and the Punjab government will make investment in future of the country through knowledge park project. Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmed, chief secretary, educationists, Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board and Chief Executive Officer of Lahore Knowledge Park Authority besides other concerned people were also present.

 

Swedish envoy: Ambassador of Sweden Tomas Rosander called on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, here Thursday. Matters of mutual interest, bilateral relations and promotion of cooperation in vocational education, skill development, industrial and other sectors were discussed in the meeting.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that there were strong friendly relations between Pakistan and Sweden. He stressed the need for taking effective measures for promotion of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. He said that exchange of trade delegations would help in promotion of economic cooperation. Shahbaz Sharif said the Punjab government was paying special attention to skill development for empowerment of youth and under a big programme of skill development, thousands of youth had been made skillful so far.

 

He said that various skills in accordance with market need were being imparted to young generation and Sweden could extend cooperation in promotion of technical education and imparting of vocational training of youth. Swedish Ambassador Tomas Rosander said that cooperation with Pakistan especially Punjab in different sectors would be continued.
