Lahore: Beijing Underpass has been Opened for traffic Yesterday. The 1.3 km-long mega project, linking to Dharampura to Mughalpura, came to completion and had official inauguration ceremony Yesterday. The flow of traffic will resume after the inauguration ceremony.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the underpass was built from Mall Road to Harbanspura Road at the cost of Rs6.93 billion.Previously known as Chubacha Underpass, the project had been renamed to commemorate the contribution of China in Pakistan’s development projects.CM Punjab Also said that after Multan and Lahore, the Speedo bus service will also be inaugurated in Lodhran and Bahawalpur.
The CM Punjab said that it was the government’s priority to provide the people of the province adequate and latest mode of transportation.
