ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) would start construction work of 11th Avenue in June to provide another signal-free artery between the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, as the design of the project is about to complete.
A senior CDA official told this news agency on Wednesday that the Authority had hired consultant to design the project that would be subject to approval from the CDA Board and would also be vetted by an independent architect.
He said the project was far more complicated than 7th and 9th Avenues as it would comprise 11 intersections and if underpass was required at one place, the flyover was feasible for the other. app
