ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has warned the citizens against buying plots from unauthorised private housing societies in zone II, V and E-11 of the capital.

Talking to this news agency, Deputy Director General Planning Wing -II Ghulam Sarwar Sindhu said people should not invest in such illegal schemes otherwise they, themselves would be responsible for any loss.

He said CDA every month made public names of authorised and un-authorised housing schemes. Sindhu said the authority had issued No Objection Certificates (NOC) to Margallah View, Khayaban-e-Kashmir, Housing Scheme of Cabinet Division Employees Cooperative Housing Society, RP Corporation Housing Scheme, Multi-Gardens and Tele Gardens in Zone-II of Islamabad.

Zaraj Housing, Soan Gardens, Bahria Town (Phase II, III, V and VI), River Garden, Senate Avenue, Al-Hamra Avenure in Zone-V and Islamabad Gardens in E-11 are as well authorised schemes, he added.

Sindhu said NOCs were not issued for Khayaban-e-Kashmir, Sector F-16, Multi Gardens, Sector B-18, Interior Ministry Employees Cooperative Housing Scheme, Engineer’s Housing Scheme (Regd) in Zone II of the capital.

Similarly, Bahria Town (Phase VII), AGOCHS-I, AGOCHS-II, CBR Town, Morgah City Islamabad, Jinnah Garden (Phase-I), Jinnah Garden-II, OPH Housing Scheme, Parliamentarians’ Enclave, Anchorage Housing Scheme, Khayaban-e-Kashmir-II and Pak PWD Housing Scheme were not authorised schemes in Zone V, as NOCs were not issued to them so far, he added. app
