LAHORE: The District and Sessions Court has accepted interim bail until July 27 of film director Sangeeta Begum, playback singer Naseebo Lal, directors Maqsood Butt and Pervez Rana in a case of recording and singing vulgar songs, a private TV channel reported. According to the channel, Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Siddique has ordered the Qilla Gujjar Singh Police Station to present a complete record of the case before the court. The accused were present in court along with their lawyers, Aamir Ali Shah and Abdul Sattar Kaira. The lawyers informed the court that their clients were innocent and should not be arrested. The court accepted their bail and ordered them to submit surety bonds of Rs 50,000 each. daily times monitor
