CDA moves against encroachments
ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Directorate of Enforcement will continue action against encroachments and illegal constructions in the city. During the operation so far, the directorate demolished three illegally constructed walls in street 48 in Sector G-6/3 during the operation. The civic authority also took action against three illegally built boundary walls in Sector G-7. The enforcement teams have also removed 15 huts in Street 40 of Sector F-10. They also razed two illegally-constructed rooms and one boundary wall in a katchi abadi in Sector G-6/2 and a room in Hansa Colony in Sector G-8/1. The directorate also removed illegal commercial and residential structures and encroachments in sectors G-9, D-12, F-10, Gulshan Market and Mandi Mor. The teams also confiscated eight truck-loads of the material during the drive. The operation was also carried out in rural areas of Islamabad.
