CDA to introduce bio metric system to make plots transfer process foolproof

ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to introduce bio-metric system in its one window office to curb forgery in the process of transfer of plots.

The system will be launched in collaboration with NADRA to check forgery in the use of identity cards and other documents during the course of transfer of plots.

Director one window, Riaz Akhtar Randhawa has worked out all modalities with NADAR in this regard so that the process of transferring of plots could be made more fool proof and transparent.

Chairman CDA has abolished the scheme for transferring plot within 24 hours against the payment of fee ranging between Rs 10000 and 15000 and issued directives that plot be transferred within five days by charging routine fee.
