Housing officials ordered to expedite uplift projects

Minister of State for Housing and Works Barrister Usman Ibrahim directed officials of the ministry and attached departments to expedite work on ongoing development projects and complete the same within the shortest possible time.



The minister on Tuesday chaired a meeting and referring to directives of the Prime Minister ordered the officials to improve working of the ministry and departments.



The minister emphasised that there is need to put an end to the culture of sluggishness and corrupt practices. He emphasised on reduction of all non-development expenditure up to 30% or even more.
