Rashdi assures property rights to overseas Pakistanis

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Rights Development (OP&HRD) Pir Syed Saddaruddin Shah Rashdi Thursday assured the Standing Committee to provide a forum for protection of expatriates workers legitimate property rights in their absence.
He informed that the ministry is fully agreed upon to support amendment in emigration ordinance for the protection of overseas Pakistanis property across the country adding that because overseas Pakistanis are playing a pivotal role in national economy.
Rashdi elaborated that the ministry has already discussed this issue with the ministry of Law, Justice and Human Rights and the ministry of Law, Justice and Human Rights has taken up the issue with superior judiciary, which has established a cell to resolve all complaints into this matter on priority.
He apprised the committee that a Complaint Box has been created on the official website of the OP&HRD to deal such issues and to respond the complainants in time
