Panic on The Mall



LAHORE: An explosion at a motor workshop at Regal Chowk on The Mall on Tuesday injured two and created panic among traders on Hall Road and adjacent markets. Civil Lines Station House Officer Inspector Taimoor Malik said two labourers were working on a welding plant when its gas cylinder exploded. He said the roof of the room in which the plant was set up collapsed and both labourers were buried under the debris. Police and Rescue 1122 officials reached the scene and rushed the labourers to Mayo Hospital. staff report
