ISLAMABAD: A three-member bench of the Supreme Court on Wednesday directed the registrar’s office to club together all cases related to the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) so that all such cases could be heard simultaneously. The bench consisting of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Ghulam Rabbani and Justice Jawwad S Khawaja was hearing a petition filed by Agha Ishrat Ali, assistant director of the Federal Investigation Agency, seeking the release of his Rs 1 million surety bond after being granted relief by an accountability court under the NRO. staff report
