‘Health Ministry to launch 24-hour health channel’

ISLAMABAD: The Health Ministry will launch a 24-hour health channel from the start of the next financial year with an aim to spread awareness about diseases, Federal Minister for Health Ejaz Hussain Jakhrani said on Wednesday. “The pictorial warning on cigarette packs would be published from May 1 next year and the new health policy would be presented in the next meeting of the cabinet for approval,” he said while addressing a press conference. “The Global Fund will provide $173 million for controlling Tuberculosis,” he said. staff report
