LAHORE - The Punjab government has called for immediate production of complete details of the assets of LDA officials and staffers in case of illegal high-rise buildings amid ongoing arrest operation against officials of LDA and CDGL.

The asset details include moveable and immovable property, bank accounts, prize bonds, income from rented houses and agri land, valuable gifts, number of children studying abroad and others.
Sources in LDA revealed that FIR has been registered in Anti-Corruption against 33 building inspectors and officials in high-rise buildings case carried the information that all LDA employees were ordered to submit the total details of their assets as per direction of Punjab government. After the CS dismay, anti-corruption establishment arrested 11 officers of the CDGL and LDA and handed them over to the Old Anarkali police. These officers were taken into custody for their alleged involvement in construction of illegal high-rises in the City. The arrested officers were identified as Rana Maqbool, Tariq Mehmood Bajwa, Younas Dar, Ansar Imam Bokhari, Gharib Alam, Muhammad Jehangir, Shafqat Bhatti, Rana Muzzamil Haq, Col Abdul Majeed ®, Mutahir and Tahir Naveed.
