UNESCO honours GCU teacher

LAHORE: UNESCO has included Dr Sobia Tahir of the Government College University (GCU) in its ‘Who is Who – International Network of Women philosophers’. Dr Sobia Tahir is an assistant professor of Philosophy at the GCU. She did her post-graduation and doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Punjab, Lahore and has been working at GCU as a teacher and researcher since January 2008. Dr Sobia is the third Pakistani woman awarded with this honour. staff report
