ISLAMABAD: COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) is launching a dual degree programme (DDP) at its Islamabad Campus on July 22.
CIIT in collaboration with Lancaster University (LU), one of the top ten universities in UK carries a lot of significance since it is a kind of programme being introduced in Pakistan for the very first time by the two top-ranked institutions.
Talking to Daily Times, an official of COMSTAS said that the DDP provided an alternative path to a foreign degree at highly reduced cost and without physical displacement.
“Initially the DDP is being launched from Fall 2010 in the disciplines of Management Sciences, Computer Science and Electrical (Telecom) Engineering.
