Shahbaz thanked the Syrian government and people for their assistance to the flood affectees. Later, the Chief Minister visited different flood-hit areas of South Punjab. Senior Advisor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa accompanied him. Addressing the calamity-stricken people at various places, the Chief Minister announced that Punjab government has decided to provide 10,000 more tents for displaced persons. He said he will personally deliver the cheques of financial aid to flood affectees. Later, addressing a meeting of district administration and assembly members in Rahim Yar Khan, he directed the officials not to confine their relief activities to their administrative limits. |
