LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif held a meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Kayani, a private TV channel reported on Wednesday. According to the sources, the meeting, held in General Headquarters (GHQ), discussed various issues, including measures taken for internal security and the war on terror. The chief minister has met the army chief thrice from September 2009 to March 2010. He last met him on March 14 earlier this year. Interior Minister Rehman Malik also called on the COAS at the GHQ on Wednesday. The two discussed matters related to internal security, an ISPR news release said.
