Gilani to open Mangla Dam raising project
MIRPUR (AJK) - Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Ch Abdul Majeed disclosed here late Monday that Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani will inaugurate Rs101 billion Mangla Dam raising project in Mirpur Azad Jammu & Kashmir placing a grand milestone of the speedy economic progress and prosperity of Pakistan including AJK especially to permanently combat the problem of loadshedding of power in the country.
“The Prime Minister of Pakistan will be accorded a historical rousing reception on his arrival in Mirpur in the near future where he will also inaugurate AJK’s largest Dhan Galli bridge over Jhelum river on Dadayal-Rawalpindi Road in Mirpur district”, Ch Majeed announced while addressing a hurriedly-called press conference at the PWD Rest House.
