Demolishing of Ravi Tool Plaza PPP workers thank PM
LAHORE – Local leaders and dozens of workers of ruling party PPP have thanked Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani for announcing to demolish Ravi Tool Plaza, which had been considered to be the main hurdle for hundred of thousands of motorists, since 1967.
The leaders and workers including advocate Syed Faraz Hashmi, former PPP MPA Samiullah Khan, PP-138 ticket holder Chaudhary Abdul Qadir and several union councils’ presidents have lauded the efforts of Chairman Evacuee Trust Property Board Syed Asif Hashmi for urging Prime Minister to take bold step in this regard. They further expressed their happiness over the remarkable decision taken by the Prime Minister to demolish Ravi Tool Plaza hereon February 3, 2012. It is being expected that Prime Minister himself will drive his car from Ravi Tool Plaza to Kala Shah Kaku interchange where the Ravi Tool Plaz would be shifted on the preplanned date.
