Pir Wadhai flyover cost rises
RAWALPINDI: The department of the government of the Punjab responsible for constructing avenues has sent a letter to P&D for approving the initial cost of Pir Wadhai flyover and underpass. The initial cost of the project has been set at Rs 1,680 million instead of Rs 1,650 million.
Sources said a meeting was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Communication and Construction Secretary Azam Suleman in which the progress of Chohar Chowk project was also assessed. It is expected that the chowk project will be completed by September 25. online
