LAHORE - In order to provide welfare facilities as well as financial assistance to the deserving employees of Lahore Development Authority, Director General LDA Ahad Khan Cheema has constituted a committee regarding disbursement/utilisation of Welfare Fund in UD Wing.
Headed by Additional Director General (HQ), LDA, the committee will include Director Administration, Director Finance, and Director C&I, LDA, as members. The committee will scrutinize the requests of deserving employees of LDA to give recommendations to Director General, LDA in the light of unanimous decisions.
In case of accident of an employee or his dependent, a financial assistance shall be given to an employee, in each case, subject to verification/documentation and recommendations of the committee. An amount of Rs 25 thousands will be given in case of minor accident causing fracture/serious injuries where as an assistance of Rs 50,000 will be provided in case of Major accident causing serious fracture/surgical problem. In case of any loss caused due to natural calamities, the financial assistance of Rs 25000 to Rs 50,000 shall be given to the employee on the basis of strong evidence/proof and recommendations of the Committee.
Eid Allowance of Rs 2000 shall be given to all employees in BS-01 to BS-16 from the Welfare Fund on both, Eidul Fitr and Eidul Azha. Moreover, same amount will be granted to Christian fellows on the occasion of Easter and Christmas.
The financial assistance of Rs 50,000 shall be given to an employee on his/her marriage ceremony or on the marriage ceremony of his dependents, i.e. son and daughter. However, a copy of “NIKAH NAMA” shall have to be submitted within 30 days of the receipt of the assistance. In the case of self, this facility will be extended only once in the entire service. The financial assistance will be given to the dependents of an employee who are regular student and fulfill the criteria prescribed for this purpose by LDA.
POSTINGS: On the orders of Additional Director General (H.Q) Lahore Development Authority Marriam Kayani, Muhammad Zubair Khan, Assistant Director (General Cadre) has been reinstated in service and posted as Assistant Director in the Directorate of Education LDA.
Adding to that Ahmed Mumtaz Ali Khan, Director Land Development-IV, LDA has been transferred and directed to report to Administration Directorate, LDA. Moazam Rasheed, Director Land Development-III, LDA has been entrusted with the additional charge of the post of Director Land Development-IV, LDA vice Ahmed Mumtaz. Further, Farhana Mumtaz, Assistant Director Law, LDA in Law Directorate as Deputy Director Labour Courts have been cancelled/ withdrawn with immediate effect and her services have been placed at the disposal of Additional Director General (Housing), LDA for further posting.
