PM approves 795km Gwadar-Hoshab Road proposal - Salman - 05-08-2013 01:59 PM
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Justice retired Mir Hazar Khan Khoso on Tuesday approved a proposal for completing 795 kilometer (km) Gwadar-Hoshab road in two years time. He said completion of this strategic road would herald a change in the socio-economic condition of Balochistan and Sindh provinces. Chairing a high level meeting to review the progress on Gwadar-Ratodero Road project he said completion of this road would connect Gwadar Port with rest of the country and the connectivity would result in the beneficial utilisation of Gwadar Port for the entire nation. He expressed hope the completion of the landmark project on schedule would be ensured and all stakeholders would coordinate the necessary logistics for its timely completion. He was apprised financial allocation for the completion of the Road would be ensured by Ministry of Finance for timely completion of the project. It was decided Gwadar-Turbat-Hoshab and Khori-Qubo Saeed Khan would be completed before June 2014.
