The FIA has further investigated a corruption of 2 billion rupees. Sources said that the said amount was mismanaged by the EOBI officials, which was received in the form of various funds. The FIA investigated this by the audit report of the organizat6ion and found out that the maximum corruption took place in 2008.
The FIA stated that the EOBI officers did not submit the funds they received in banks. Further investigation is being carried out.
