The chief justice while hearing the EOBI case said that the money of the people will not be let to be plundered with. The EOBI case hearing scheduled on 28th August has been delayed due to the hearing of another important case. The chief justice although asked the DHA’s lawyer Irfan Qadir whether the accounts should be released to pay the DHA employees. The said lawyer replied in affirmative and said that it was an obvious fact.
The frozen DHA accounts will be released for the payment of the monthly wages of the DHA employees. The DHA accounts will then return to their frozen state. The date of the next court hearing was not given.
