Authorities Plan To Build Underpasses And An Overhead Bridge In The DHA Lahore - Salman - 09-12-2013 08:22 PM
Lahore- In order to harmonize the flow of traffic In the DHA, the authorities plan to construct underpasses and an overhead bridge at four different places.
The authorities have included an amount of Rs. 2500 million in the budget of current year for these projects. NESPAK has been given the contract for developing feasibility report on these projects.
These underpasses are expected to be constructed at Ghazi Chowk, Masjid Abdullah Chowk and the crossings of phase 1, 2, 3 and 4 on Ghazi Road. Moreover, the decision regarding the development of underpass or overhead bridge on Walton Road is also under discussion.
An official of NESPAK said that with these projects residential lands are unlikely to be affected.
