Development Authorities To Get Control Over Housing Department Schemes - Salman - 09-20-2013 05:36 PM
Lahore- Housing Department has decided to transfer the control of its schemes from TMA to the Development Authorities.
Approval from the DCOs of Multan and Faisalabad has been sought. Housing Department, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering have sought suggestions from the DCOs of Lahore, Rawalpindi and Gujranwala, who are also the chairmen of Development Authorities.
Housing Department has decided to transfer the building control of its schemes by using the legal conditions in the new Punjab Local Government Act. Development Authorities will also get rights regarding the commercialization of schemes and also the rights to receive conversion fees. According to this decision, LDA (Lahore Development Authority) will get control over Rewaz Garden, Shadaab Colony, Housing Department's quarters, Temple Road, Mazang Road, Mohni Road, Raj Garh, Sodi Waal and Prem Nagar Flats
