Land Sale Agreement Between DHA And ETPB Declared Void - Salman - 10-04-2013 07:04 PM
Islamabad – The Supreme Court of Pakistan, declared the land sale agreement between ETPB (Evacuee Trust Property Board) and DHA (Defence Housing Authority) invalid, last Wednesday.
Ifitikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, while attending to a suo moto case concerning to the sale of billions of land of ETPB against a small amount to the DHA, declared the sale agreement void and ordained to initiate criminal case against, Asif Ali Hashmi, ETPB Chairman.
Chief Justice also emphasized FIA to complete the investigation soon. The court noticed that the transactions entered into by DHA Lahore and Islamabad with ETPB contained various irregularities and violations of financial instructions and relevant laws.
