CDA earns Rs8b from auction of commercial plots
Monday, November 25, 2013 - Islamabad—Capital Development Authority (CDA) has earned Rs eight billion from auction of 24 commercial plots in different sectors of federal capital. According to CDA official, the authority has offered 56 plots for auction while only 24 were auctioned adding that other plots were deferred due to shortage of time.
The three day transparent and open auction process held in highly secured environment and attended by a large number of investors further consolidated the confidence of the investors.
All the plots in auction fetched much higher prices as compared to the previous years, which testifies investor’s confidence in CDA’s transparent and investment friendly policies.
Investors from Lahore and Karachi were also participated in the auction process through video link for the first time.
