DHA to formulate realistic development strategy - Salman - 05-09-2014 10:55 PM DHA to formulate realistic development strategy Friday, May 09, 2014 - Karachi—A delegation of Defence Residents’ Society (DRS) led by its President Zafar Iqbal visited DHA main office and held a meeting with Administrator DHA Brig Muhammad Abdullah to discuss various issues of the residents. Concerned DHA Officials were also present on the occasion. Administrator DHA in his opening remarks reiterated that interaction between DHA management and residents helps the DHA to formulate a realistic development strategy. He also apprised the forum that DHA was taking a number of measures for provision of safe and secure living environment to residents. Delegation also mentioned their maiden visit to DHA Suffa University which is the fastest growing University of the country that has ventured to enter into collaboration with the high ranking international universities for the students and faculty exchange programmes. The DRS delegation was highly impressed by the university’s growth. The delegation particularly appreciated their recent visit to DHA City Karachi (DCK) the ongoing residential project of DHA on Super Highway. The delegation whole-heartedly applauded the ongoing development works and described DCK as a “Role Model” of the country and “Trend Setter” in the Real Estate. DHA officials apprised the DRS delegation about the ongoing development work in Phase-VIII. Progress on agenda points of previous meeting were also deliberated upon along with issues of routine nature. President DRS thanked Administrator DHA and his team and assured him of the full co-operation and support of the Association. |
