Gwadar Port:New desalination plant and power generation unit approved - LRE-Azan - 11-15-2017 03:46 PM
A new desalination plant and power generation unit would be established at the Gwadar Port Free Zone. This was decided during a meeting of Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Mir Hasil Bizenjo with Chairman China Overseas Port Holding Company (COPHC) Zhang Baozhong and Chairman Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) Dostain Jamaldini. The meeting was told that the desalination plant will produce 5 million gallon clean water per day while the power plant will produce 30MW electricity.
The minister directed all the concerned authorities to complete all projects in the earliest possible time.-PR
