“We have completed the award/license bidding process to develop Phase 1 of the project (2,000 Acres/Sapphire Bay). The official announcement of the winning bidder will be on Monday or Tuesday (May 31 or 6 1st of March),” said Imran Ameen, CEO of RUDA.
According to the RUDA boss, more than eight groups/companies have been pre-qualified to submit technical bids for the project. According to him, out of the eight he was four technically qualified and was asked to submit a bid. Three of the four submitted bids, including one owned by the Arif Habib Group of Companies (Javedan Consortium).
