Punjab Government approves Small Industrial Estate Policy 2023

Lahore: On March 29, a news source reported that the Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) Board of Directors had approved the Punjab Small Industrial Estate Policy 2023. On Tuesday, provincial caretaker minister for commerce and industry SM Tanveer presided over the 122nd meeting of the Board of Directors.

A few PICS-related financial and administrative issues were also approved during the same meeting. According to the specifics, the transfer of allotment fee was reduced from 3 percent to 1 point 5 percent. For reserving a plot in the Small Industrial Estate, the down payment was reduced from 60% to 40%. To speed up the colonization of the industrial estates in the province, a variety of measures have been suggested under the policy.
