7 LDA Officials Accused for Wrongly Allocating 27 Plots Worth Millions - LRE-Azan - 04-15-2023 06:01 PM 7 LDA Officials Accused for Wrongly Allocating 27 Plots Worth Millions Lahore: According to the latest news reports, numerous Lahore Development Authority (LDA) officials have been booked for allocating 27 plots worth millions of rupees wrongly in a posh city’s locality. The accused officials include: Sibtain Raza Qureshi [Former Director, Housing VII], currently posted in the legal branch of LDA Faisal Anjum [Deputy Director, Revenue] Shahid Munir and Zaheer Ahmed The case against the accused was registered by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) under several sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act (PCA) and the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). Shehbaz Ahmed, an ACE officer who filed the FIR, had received data regarding the alleged crime. The FIR stated that Shahid Munir Khokhar, known to be associated with several political leaders, used his political influence to acquire khasra numbers’ duplicate files. Mr Zaheer and Mr Munir obtained 27 plots in Johar Town’s different blocks with the help of LDA officials.
