LDA Launches Mobile app to Provide Information to General Public


LAHORE: On Thursday, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) introduced a smartphone application to help the general population. In a meeting held here on Thursday, Commissioner Lahore and DG LDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa disclosed this. According to Commissioner Lahore, all LDA services are available to citizens via the LDA mobile application.

He claimed that before making a financial commitment, citizens might use the app to learn more about the status of any private housing society. The list of legitimate and unauthorized housing societies is available on the mobile app.A group of media previously went to One Window Cell with Commissioner Lahore and LDA DG. In front of journalists, Commissioner Lahore and the LDA DG solicited comments from the public regarding the services.

The commissioner also gave beat reporters an update on One Window Cell's redesign and the actions made in response to the chief minister's instructions. He mentioned that LDA had begun offering entirely free home services to seniors over 75. Premier services were also included in "Dastak LDA at Doorstep," and after paying a charge, citizens could use them.

According to Commissioner Lahore, the efficiency of window sales has greatly increased because the number of pending applications decreased from 1,300 to 200. He also stated that indiscriminate action was being taken against unauthorized encroachments and buildings. The Commissioner added that the system was being improved by considering comments and opinions and that the series of press briefings would continue.
