* Raja Riaz visits Shahbaz in hospital, conveys President Zardari’s best wishes

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif was shifted to Lahore’s Ittefaq Hospital on Monday and later discharged after being treated for chest pain, a private TV channel reported.
According to the channel, Shahbaz was shifted to the hospital after he felt chest constriction during a seminar regarding Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Saad Rafiq’s father Khawaja Rafiq’s death anniversary. The doctors conducted a complete checkup and gave Shahbaz a clean chit. The channel quoted hospital sources as saying the pain might have been caused by stress.
Various political leaders, including Senior Punjab Minister Raja Riaz visited Shahbaz at the hospital. Riaz conveyed President Asif Zardari’s best wishes to the chief minister.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani telephoned Shahbaz and prayed for his early recovery.
