KARACHI: Audio players or televisions in all types of public transport, including inter-city buses, are a violation of the Motor Vehicle Rule 226-A, said DIG Traffic Wajid Ali Durrani on Friday. In a statement, he informed owners and drivers to remove these instruments from their vehicles before July 18; any one who fails to comply will be dealt with severely. The television sets, CDs or audio players will be confiscated and the fitness certificate would be cancelled, the DIG warned. ppi
