ISLAMABAD: To overcome financial crises, Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to auction residential, commercial, industrial and orchard plots in different areas of Islamabad on March 25 and 26. Residential plots in sectors D-12, F-10, F-11, G-10, while commercial plots in sectors G-9, G-10, G-11, I-8 and I-11 would be auctioned. The CDA would also auction industrial plots in ITK Kahuta and sectors I-9 and I-10. According to CDA Director Estate Management-I, plots of fruit and vegetable category would be also available for auction in I-11/1. Orchard plots on Murree Road and H-9 would also be available. The CDA has also decided to auction plots for CNG/ and petrol pumps on Lehtrar Road and I-8/1. The residential plots would be auctioned on March 25 while commercial on March 26 here at Aabpara.
Rs 194m approved for DHQ Hospital: Punjab Governor Salman Taseer has approved Rs 194 million for up-gradation of neuro-surgery department of District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Rawalpindi. The health department has issued directives to the hospital about approval of funds. When contacted, DHQ Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Khalid Iqbal confirmed approval of funds. online
