In another case of violation, the 25-acre Deh Bitti Amri, situated in the suburbs at Super Highway approximately 20 kilometres away from the centre of the city, has been encroached upon by the land mafia. Authorities from the City District Government Karachi put up a boundary around the plot to protect it, but the mafia still has possession of 20 acres of the land

Land allocated for the construction of a mosque was encroached upon in Junejo Town near Manzoor Colony of Jamshed Town, people of the area told The News. “There are dozens of makeshift houses, and most of them were built almost overnight,” added activists in the area. “A few fire cases have been recorded, but the occupants do not seem to be in the mood to vacate the place.”
