Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has prepared PC-I for the construction of Margalla Avenue, which would be an eight-lane road, starting from the Nicholson Monument near Sector B-17 and ending at 11th Avenue. The road would be constructed in three years with a total cost of Rs9.183 billion and would also have a service area akin to motorway where a petrol pump, restaurant, kids play area and a mosque would be constructed. The PC-I has been sent to the Planning & Evaluation Wing for approval.
