LAHORE: Ruling out a further reduction in oil prices, Finance Adviser Shaukat Tareen said on Saturday the government will reduce CNG prices in the near future. During an interview with a private TV channel, he said the government did not intend to levy new taxes in the forthcoming budget, adding it wanted to broaden the tax base. He said considerable funds would be allocated to eliminate poverty and public welfare projects in the coming budget, adding it would be pro-people. daily times monitor
