According to a press statement issued on Wednesday, the fountain has a five-foot diameter solid granite ball that floats and rotates on water. The black granite sphere has a mirror finish. It is placed on a solid granite base in the middle of a pond at Hamdani Chowk on Shami Road in Cantonment. Such a fountain has been constructed at a public place for the first time in Pakistan.
