Islamabad: Rawalpindi Cantonment Board has decided to initiate 14 new projects including the installation of new tube-wells and filtration plants besides the construction of roads and streets with a total cost of Rs28 million. In order to overcome water scarcity, six tube wells and filtration plants amounting to Rs20 million will be installed in different areas of Rawalpindi Cantt while Rs8 million will be utilised for the construction and improvement of roads and streets.
