Renting houses to foreigners banned in Peshawar - Naveed Yaseen - 11-15-2009 06:02 AM
PESHAWAR (November 15 2009): The District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Peshawar under section 144 Cr.PC has banned renting of houses to non-locals/foreigners, says an official notification issued here on Saturday. In a circular issued here stated that the owners of houses and property dealers who have given their houses on rent to non locals/foreigners during the last four months and not registered the particulars of hirers/tenants in the concerned police station; should register the particulars.
It was also stated that henceforth no house would be given on rent without prior registration in the concerned police station. Any one found violating this order shall be liable to be proceeded against under section 188 Cr.PC. This order shall come into force forthwith and shall remain enforced for a period of 30 days.
