India supporting terrorism in Pakistan, shedding crocodile tears as victim: CM Punjab - Naveed Yaseen - 11-19-2009 06:27 AM By Malik Siraj Akbar QUETTA: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday said India was supporting terror in Balochistan and the government had concrete evidence that New Delhi was involved in destabilising the province and Waziristan Agency. Shahbaz asked India to behave like a “good neighbour” for greater regional peace and stability. Addressing a press conference with Balochistan Chief Minister Aslam Raisani at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Shahbaz accused India of meddling in Balochistan via Afghanistan. “India is playing a heinous role in Balochistan and Waziristan. And yet India keeps shedding crocodile tears in front of the international community by presenting itself as a victim of terrorism. We have extended all possible support to India in fighting terrorism on its soil, but it’s very unfortunate that in return New Delhi is bent upon stirring turmoil in Balochistan to disintegrate Pakistan,” he added. Shahbaz said India should recognise the fact that it was impossible to get rid of one’s neighbour, therefore, India should stop creating problems that make it difficult for the two countries to coexist peacefully. “Pakistan seeks friendly ties with all countries of the world, including India and the US,” Shahbaz said. The Punjab chief minister said the government should initiate a broad-based dialogue with all stakeholders in Balochistan. http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2009\11\19\story_19-11-2009_pg1_9 |
