NEW DELHI: India’s first ever night-time test of a nuclear capable, medium-range ballistic missile failed, the Defence Ministry said on Tuesday. A variant of the Agni missile, with a range of 2,500 kilometres was fired on Monday after sundown from a mobile launcher at the Wheeler Island test site, off India’s east coast. The Indian Defence Ministry said, “the trial has not met with success”, without giving any further details. afp
