Renovation of Nawaz Sharif Park begins

RAWALPINDI: Rawal Town Administration has started renovation and beautification of Nawaz Sharif Park at a cost of Rs 15 million aiming to provide most modern facilities to the people.

According to a spokesman of RTA, the renovation work includes installation of tough tiles at footpaths as well as at jogging tracks. The installation of fancy lights, sheds and benches, plantation of trees and provision of water drinking facility for the visitors has also been planned.

The construction of two beautiful fountains in the park has been started, he said, adding that the installation of modern lighting system and new swings has been initiated.

Rawal Town Administrator Arshad Warriach visited the park and directed the staff to ensure quality work. app
