LCC demands govt vacate land attached to FC College

LAHORE: The Lahore Church Council (LCC) on Tuesday demanded that the government vacate its lands attached to the Forman Christian College from land grabbers.

Addressing a press conference at the Lahore Press Club, LCC Bishop Dr MM Waqas warned that the council would launch a long march against the government if it failed to fulfill its demand of vacating the land from the grabbers.

Bishop Dr Akbar Khokhar, Bishop Akram Masih, Bishop Irfan, Bishop Dr Jan Nisar and other members of the council were also present during the press conference. They announced that they would hold a sit-in before parliament if their demands were not met.

“The land belongs to the LCC and the grabbers have taken possession of it illegally,” they said.
